Anthony Flaccavento was a 2012 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 9th Congressional District of Virginia. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 12, 2012. He was defeated by Morgan Griffith on November 6, 2012.[1]

  • Taxes: "Fair regulatory, tax, labor and economic policies that stop subsidizing the 1%, huge corporations and off-shoring jobs at the expense of small to mid-size businesses, middle class homeowners, local banks, family and organic farms, and clean energy."
  • Jobs: "Creating jobs through support for dynamic small businesses, sustainable farmers, local banks and credit unions and young entrepreneurs."
  • Healthcare: "Health care policy that provides access to all citizens and that encourages healthy living, preventative and primary care and local innovations that improve care and reduce cost."[2]

Flaccavento ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Virginia's 9th District. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary and faced Republican incumbent Morgan Griffith in the November general election.[3] He was defeated by Morgan Griffith on November 6, 2012.[4]
