Iannarelli was a 2011 candidate for District 39 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. Iannarelli was bracketed with Michael McCarthy in the June 7 primary.[1] Both were removed from the ballot in April, but both got back on the ballot after winning the nomination through write-in votes. They face Holly Schepisi (R), Robert Schroeder (R), Clinton Bosca (I) in the general election.[2][3]
