Anthony W. Petruccelli is a Democratic member of the Massachusetts State Senate, representing the First Suffolk and Middlesex district. He was first elected to the chamber in 2006.

Petruccelli served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1999 to 2007, first being elected in a special election.

Petrucelli won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts State Senate First Suffolk and Middlesex District. Petrucelli was unopposed in the September 6 Democratic primary and defeated Thomas J. Dooley, III (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
