An Antrim Township Fire Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Antrim, which is in Shiawassee County.

This measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of $1.25 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further four years in order to continue to pay for fire protection services offered in the township. It was approved.

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall the previously voted increase in the ad valorem taxes within Antrim Township be renewed at 1.25 mills ($1.25 per $1,000 of taxable value) each year for four years for the period of 2012 through 2015 inclusive for the contracting of fire department protection within Antrim Township; and shall the Township levy such renewal in millage for said purposes, thereby raising in the first year an estimated $83,800.00.[1][2]
