Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry is an organization set on giving a collective voice to the businesses of Arizona at the state legislature level. The organizations main purpose is to represent the interests of industry and commerce in Arizona in order to enhance it's economy.[1]
  • The Arizona Chamber of Commerce mission statement reads, "Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry is committed to enhancing Arizona's competitive position in the global economy by advocating free-market policies that stimulate economic growth and prosperity for all Arizonans."[2]

The Board of Directors

  • The Board of Directors is comprised up of 65 members. The Board of Directors is governed by it's seven board officers and it's elective committee.[3]

Regulatory Reform

  • With the states economy struggling and deficits ever increasing the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry is requesting that Arizona eliminates all new regulations for the next two years on business and local governments. These costs place a burden on the government as well as businesses. They support H.B. 2240 which prevents government agencies from passing regulations that adds additional costs to businesses.[4]
