Armond Budish is a Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 8. He was first elected to the chamber in 2006. Budish was the Speaker of the House from 2009 to 2011, and also served as Minority Leader from 2011 to 2013.

Biography

Budish earned a BA from Swarthmore College and a JD from New York University Law School. He is a partner of Budish, Solomon, Steiner, and Peck. Budish is also a columnist and author.

Budish won re-election in the 2012 election for Ohio House, District 8. Budish defeated Azaadjeet Singh in the March 6 Democratic primary election and defeated Tony Hocevar (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
