Art Carlson was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 41 of the Colorado House of Representatives.

He was also a 2012 Republican candidate for District 28 of the Colorado State Senate.

Carlson ran in the 2012 election for Colorado House of Representatives District 41. He was defeated by Jovan Melton (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]

Carlson was not on the primary ballot but replaced Robert Miles, who withdrew from the race. Carlson was named to the ballot by an Arapahoe County vacancy committee on August 23.[3]
