Arthur "A.J." Wilhelmi is a Democratic member of the Illinois State Senate. Wilhelmi has served in the Illinois Senate since 2005 and was re-elected in November of 2010 with his term expiring in 2015.

Wilhelmi graduated with his Bachelor's degree from Loyola-Chicago and his Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent Law.

Wilhelmi won re-election to the 43rd District Seat in the Illinois State Senate. Wilhelmi was opposed by Republican candidate Cedra Crenshaw.[2]
