Three Ashland Township Road and Fire Levy Increase measures were on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the township of Ashland which is in Newaygo County.

All three measures were approved

The first measure sought to increase the levy for roads to $3 per $1,000 of assessed property, which is in place to help fund road construction and improvement projects in the township for a further two years.

The second measure sought to increase the fire and emergency services levy to $.25 per $1,000 of assessed property, which is in place to help fund fire responsive services as well as administration needs in the township for a further three years.

The third measure sought to increase the fire equipment levy to $.50 per $1,000 of assessed property, which helps fund the buying of new equipment for the fire department in the township for one year.[1]
