An Atherton Little League Ball Field at Holbrook-Palmer Park ballot question is on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in the Town of Atherton in San Mateo County.[1]

The Menlo-Atherton Little League organization wants to improve the existing ball field at Holbrook-Palmer Park by adding bleacher seating for 200 people, an electronic scoreboard and restrooms. They also want to overhaul the ball field's existing turf. The cost of the project is about $500,000, and the Little League would pay for that.

Path to the ballot

The measure was referred to the ballot on August 7, 2012 by a 3-2 vote of the Atherton Town Council.[1]

Bill Widmer, Jim Dobbie and Kathy McKeithen were the three town council members who voted in favor of placing the measure on the ballot.
