The Attorney General of Kansas is one of four statewide constitutional offices in Kansas. The office is the chief law enforcement agency for the state. The current occupant of the office is Stephen Six, who succeeded Paul Morrison‎ in 2008. Morrison was elected in 2006 but resigned in late 2007 in the wake of a scandal.
