Year-specific dates

2014

Mississippi will have a primary election on June 3, 2014 and a general election on November 4, 2014. Voters will elect candidates to serve in the following state and federal offices:

The filing deadline for candidates running in the primary election is March 1, 2014. For candidates running in the general election the deadline is May 9, 2014. The process to create a new political party for the 2014 elections also follows these filing deadlines.[1]
