Amanda Carey is an Assistant Staff Writer on the Congress Project. Carey joined Ballotpedia in December 2011.
Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Carey moved to Washington, D.C. after graduating in 2010 from Clemson University with a degree in political science and journalism. There, she worked as a political reporter for a year and a half. In addition to working part-time for Ballotpedia, Carey also freelances and works on a variety of writing and editing projects.
