Janetka attended American University in Washington DC for 3 years, finishing his Bachelors in political science at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. He previously worked for Sunshine Review, where he helped to build information on state transparency efforts. Janetka is an avid fiction writer, his work can be found on his website After It Burns Out.

On Ballotpedia, Janetka is currently focused on 2011 Wisconsin Senate Recalls, as well as working on the State official and redistricting projects.
