Originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin, Springer attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she studyed political science and sociology with a Pre-Law emphasis. In addition to contributing to Ballotpedia, she works part-time at the public library in La Crosse.

Joshua Williams is an assistant staff writer with Ballotpedia's ballot measure team. Currently, Joshua is leading the team's effort to catalog all historical ballot measures for all 50 states.

Joshua holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Boston University, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in International Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He first came to Ballotpedia as an intern in the summer of 2011, and moved directly on to being a part-time staff member afterward.

In 2011, Joshua helped update Ballotpedia's list of political topics.
