Jennifer Springer is a Ballotpedia staff writer who researches and writes about the United States Congress.

Springer first joined the Ballotpedia staff as an intern in the summer of 2011. She became a part-time member of the staff in October 2011, helping with the initial buildup of the Congress project.

In addition to Congress, Springer has covered state executive officials, state legislatures and ballot measures. Specifically, ballot measure research included a historical review of ballot measures from 1960-2010, and a historical review of all ballot measures in Washington from 1900-2011.

Originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin, Springer attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she studied political science and sociology with a pre-law emphasis.
