Jennifer Springer is staff writer working on the State Executive Officials and State Legislative projects.

Springer started out on Ballotpedia staff as an intern in the summer of 2011. She became a part-time member of the staff in October 2011, helping with the initial buildup of the Congress project.

Originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin, Springer attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she studied political science and sociology with a pre-law emphasis. In addition to contributing to Ballotpedia, she works part-time at the public library in La Crosse.

Previous work on Ballotpedia focused on a historical review of ballot measures from 1960-2010, and a historical review of all ballot measures in Washington from 1900-2011.
