Kaitlin Edleman joined Ballotpedia and Judgepedia as a Contributor Engagement Associate in September 2013.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kaitlin attended the University of Maryland, College Park graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology. After perfecting her skiing skills in Aspen, Colorado, Kaitlin attended law school at George Mason University focusing on litigation and energy law. Following graduation, Kaitlin clerked for the Honorable Randall Smith and the Honorable Marjorie Arrington of the First Judicial Circuit of Virginia.

Kaitlin recently returned to Washington, D.C. In addition to her role with Ballotpedia and Judgepedia, she also works as a freelance legal blogger. Kaitlin enjoys writing, cooking, traveling and learning new languages.
