Becky Currie (b. May 2, 1957) is a Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 92. She was first elected to the chamber in 2007.


Currie attended the University of Southern Mississippi. Her professional experience includes working as a registered nurse.[1]

On November 8, 2011, Currie won re-election to District 92 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. She ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and defeated Ken Sullivan in the November 8 general election. [3]

On November 6, 2007 Currie was elected in District 92, defeating Democratic challenger D.W. Maxwell in the general election.[4] She defeated Paul Barnett and Everett Buckles in the primary election with 523 votes to 457 and 49, respectively.[5]
