Ben Loyola was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 6 of the Virginia State Senate.

Loyola is a graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He has served as a Captain in the United States Navy.

He founded Loyola Enterprises Inc., an engineering service contracting firm, in 1991.

Loyola ran in the 2011 election for Virginia Senate District 6. He was uncontested in the August 23 primary and was defeated by incumbent Democrat Ralph Northam in the November 8 general election.[1][2]
