Ben R. Miranda was a Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing the 16th District from 2003 to 2011. He is also a member of the Roosevelt School Board.

Miranda is an attorney in private practice and hosts a legal radio program. He is a member of the American Red Cross Board, Arizona Trial Lawyers Association Board, and founder of Proyeto Manzana.[1]

Miranda was ineligible to run for re-election in 2010 due to the term limits of the Arizona House of Representatives.


On November 4, 2008, Miranda and Cloves Campbell Jr. were elected to the 16th District Seat in the Alabama House of Representatives, defeating opponent Raymond Williams (R).[2]

Miranda raised $35,347 for the campaign, Campbell raised $12,980, and Williams raised $1,600.[3]
