Bernie Anderson (b. May 15, 1942) was a Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly. He represented the 31st District from 1990 to 2010 serving as Speaker Pro Tempore. State term limits disqualified him from re-election in 2010.

Anderson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1971. He was staff sergeant in the Nevada Army National Guard from 1960 to 1967. He is a retired teacher. He and his wife, Clyda, have two children: Cairn and Natha.

On November 4, 2008, Anderson won re-election to the District 31 Seat in the Nevada Assembly, defeating opponents Ron Longtin and Jim Nord.[1]
