Elections
2012
Grande is running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing North Dakota At-large district.[2] She is seeking the nomination on the Republican ticket. Kevin Cramer and Brian Kalk are also running in the Republican primary, which takes place on June 12, 2011. Incumbent Rick Berg (R) is vacating the seat. If Grande wins the primary, she will take on the Democrat Pat Gulleson in the general election on November 6, 2012.
According to the Washington Post, North Dakota is a battleground district in 2012, with incumbent Rick Berg running for Senate and Republicans duking it out in the primary. Democrat Pat Gulleson is vastly out-raising the Republican candidates, and has a "fighting chance" in a conservative state.[3]
2010
Grande won re-election to one of two seats in District 41 of the North Dakota House of Representatives. Grande and fellow incumbent Al Carlson (R) defeated Tyrel Hegland (D) in the November 2 general election.[4][5]
