Betty Komp (b. 1949) is a Democratic member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 22. She was first elected to the chamber in 2004. In the 2014 session, she serves as Speaker Pro Tempore. She previously served as Assistant Majority Leader, Politics in 2013.

Betty Komp served on the Mount Angel School Board.

Biography

Komp attended Chemeketa Community College, earned her Bachelors degree from Western Oregon University in 1990, and earned her MA from Western Oregon University in 1992. Her professional experience includes work as a teacher at Woodburn High School, as assistant principal at Woodburn High School, and as principal of French Prairie Middle School.[1]
