Elizabeth O'C. "Betty" Little (b. September 28, 1940) is a Republican member of the New York State Senate, representing District 45. She was first elected to the chamber in 2002. She previously served as Chair of the Senate Republican Program Development Committee.

Little was Queensbury At-Large Supervisor for the Warren County Board of Supervisors from 1986 to 1995. In 1995, she won a special election to the New York State Assembly and served in that position until 2002. She was also a part of the Hudson-Fulton-Champlain Quadricentennial Commission.


Little earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from the College of Saint Rose in 1962. Her professional experience includes working as a teacher for New York City Public School 8 on Staten Island from 1963 to 1965, a teacher at Queensbury School from 1962 to 1966, as a Budget Officer for Warren County from 1990 to 1991, and as a Real Estate Agent for Fitzgerald Realty of Glens Falls from 1995 to 2002.

She ran unopposed in the Republican primary on September 13, 2012; she also ran on the Conservative Party and Independence Party of New York State tickets. Little was unchallenged in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
