Bettye Davis (b. May 17, 1938) is a former Democratic member of the Alaska State Senate, representing the K District from 2001 to 2013.

Davis served in the Alaska House of Representatives from 1990-1996. During this time she served as both the Majority and Minority Whip. Davis also served on the school board of the Anchorage school district from 1982-89 and again in 1998.

Davis earned a B.S.W. in Social Work from Gambling University in 1971. She also took graduate courses in Family Counseling at University of Alaska, Anchorage.

Davis ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Alaska State Senate District 13 (M). She defeated Harry Crawford, Jr. in the August 28, 2012 Democratic primary and was defeated by Anna Fairclough (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
