Beul, Greenleaf, Marlette & Minden Road Levy Increases, 4 (August 2010)

Four Township Road Levy Increase measures were on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the townships of Beul, Greenleaf, Marlette and Minden, which are in Sanilac County.

All four of these measures were approved

The Beul township measure sought to renew the current road levy of $1 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further four years in order to further fund the maintenance of gravel roads in the township.

  • NO 82 (29.93%)

The Greenleaf township measure sought to renew the current road levy of $1 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further four years in order to help pay for the maintenance of roads in the unincorporated areas of the township.

  • YES 73 (75.26%) Approveda
  • NO 24 (24.74%)

The Marlette township measure sought to renew the current road levy of $2 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further six years in order to further fund the maintenance of roads in the township.

  • YES 278 (67.15%) Approveda
  • NO 136 (32.85%)

The Minden township measure sought to renew the current road levy of $2 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further four years in order to further fund the maintenance, construction and repair of roads in the township. [1]
