Dashairya was defeated by incumbent Candice Miller.[1] Dashairya ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Michigan's 10th District. Dashairya ran as a Libertarian candidate. He faced Republican incumbent Candice Miller and Chuck Stadler (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
