Bill Albracht was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 36 of the Illinois State Senate.

Albracht served in the U.S. Army Special Forces and in the U.S. Secret Service. Since his service, he has worked as a security consultant and for Ford Motor Company's security operations.[1]

Albracht ran in the 2012 election for Illinois State Senate District 36. Albracht was unopposed in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012 and was defeated by Democratic incumbent Mike Jacobs in the general election on November 6, 2012.[3][4][5]
