Bill Gelineau was a 2012 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House representing the 3rd Congressional District of Michigan. He was a Libertarian candidate for District 29 District of the Michigan State Senate in 2010.


Gelinaeu was born and grew up in Michigan. He attended University of Michigan and Wayne State University.[1]

Gelineau was defeated by incumbent Justin Amash.[6] Gelineau ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Michigan's 3rd District as a Libertarian. He faced Republican incumbent Justin Amash and Steve Pestka (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[7]
