William "Bill" Posey (b. December 18, 1947) is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Posey was elected by voters from Florida's 15th congressional district.

Due to redistricting, Posey is running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Florida's 8th District. Posey is seeking re-election on the Republican ticket.[1] The signature filing deadline is May 7, 2012, with the primary taking place on August 14, 2012.

Biography

Posey was born in 1947 and has been a Florida resident since 1956. After graduating from Cocoa High, he followed in his father’s footsteps and worked at the Kennedy Space Center until he was laid off with the end of the Apollo Program.[2]
