  • 2000: Moved to Belfast and started construction company – The B. Richardson Company[3]

Richardson ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Maine's 2nd District. Richardson was defeated by Kevin Raye in the Republican primary.[5] Incumbent Mike Michaud ran unopposed in the Democratic primary.

Richardson is married to his wife, Laura.[6] He has two children from a former marriage – Kyle and Jana.[6]
