Elections
2012
Richardson was running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Maine's 2nd District. Richardson was seeking the nomination on the Republican ticket.[3] Richardson was defeated by Kevin Raye in the Republican primary.[4] Incumbent Mike Michaud ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was March 15, 2012. The primary elections were held on June 12, 2012.
Personal
Richardson is married to his wife, Laura.[5] He has two children from a former marriage – Kyle and Jana.[5]
