Blaine Richardson is a 2014 Independent candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Maine.[1]

Richardson announced on January 20, 2014, that he left the Republican Party to run as an Independent.[2][3]

He was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Maine. Richardson was defeated by Kevin Raye in the Republican primary on June 12, 2012.[4] He has announced intention to run again for the position in the 2014 election.[5]

Richardson is running in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Maine's 2nd District.[1][7] Richardson is seeking the Independent nomination in the primary. The general election takes place November 4, 2014.

Richardson announced on January 20, 2014, that he left the Republican Party to run as an Independent.[2]
