Blase Billack was a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 9th Congressional District of New Jersey. He lost in the primary.[1]

Billack is a pharmaceutical science professor.[2]


Campaign themes


Billack wanted to repeal Obamacare, reduce a broad range of taxes, and end federal funding for abortion providers.[2]

According to his website, Billack's campaign platform also included the following issues[3]:

  • Reduce Department of Education budget by 75% and reduce the agency's involvement in education standards
  • Cut taxes for businesses that hire Americans
  • Pass fair trade provisions

Billack ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing New Jersey's 9th District. He lost to Shmuley Boteach in the June 5 Republican primary.[1][4]
