Blase Billack was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 9th Congressional District of New Jersey. He lost in the primary.[1]

Billack is a pharmaceutical science professor.[2]

2012

Billack wanted to repeal Obamacare, reduce a broad range of taxes, and end federal funding for abortion providers.[2]

According to his website, Billack's campaign platform also included the following issues[3]:

  • Reduce Department of Education budget by 75% and reduce the agency's involvement in education standards
  • Cut taxes for businesses that hire Americans
  • Pass fair trade provisions
