A Blissfield School District Bond Measure was on the May 4, 2010 ballot in the Blissifled school district which is in Lenawee County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 564 (42.44%)
  • NO 765 (57.56%)Defeatedd [1]

This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $11.99 million in order to help pay for upgrades and renovations to various school buildings in the district. Home owners would have seen, on average, an increase in property taxes of around $111.75 for the year. School officials were also hoping to get the low interest rates that would have been associated if the district borrowed money now, rather than later. School officials though noted that if the bond did not pass it would just mean that the schools would have to make do with less and try to manage.[2]
