Four City Library Levy Increase measure will be on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the cities of Bloomfield Hills, Troy, Milford and Northville which are all in Oakland County.

The Bloomfield library measure seeks to increase the current library levy by $.617 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further six years in order to continue to help provide library services to the city.

The Troy library measure seeks to increase the current library levy by $.9885 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further ten years in order to help pay for operational expenses of library services in the city.

The Milford library measure seeks to increase the current library levy by $.38 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further ten years in order to help pay for operational costs of the library in the city.

The Northville library measure seeks to increase the current library levy by $.2 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for operational costs of the library in the city.[1]
