Bob Brechtel (b. January 30, 1949) is a former Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives. He represented District 38 from 2003 to 2013.

Brechtel earned his degree in Business Management in 1996.

Brechtel has worked as a farmer. He also worked as a Manager/Training Coordinator/Supervisor for Amoco Refining from 1978 to 2003.[1]

Brechtel ran for election in the 2012 election for Wyoming State Senate, District 30.[2] Bouchard was defeated by incumbent Charles Scott in the August 21st primary election.[3]
