Bob Montgomery is a former Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing district 26 from January 11, 2011 until his resignation in June 2012. Montgomery resigned from his seat in order to run for election in a different district in 2012. Montgomery was elected to fill the vacant seat of Rob Olson, who was elected to the Senate when Karin Brownlee was appointed the new Kansas Labor Secretary. [1]

Montgomery is running in the 2012 election for Kansas House of Representatives District 15. He faces Elliot Lahn in the August 7 Republican primary. No candidates filed to run in the Democratic primary. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[2]
