Robert Oaks (b. January 15, 1952) is a Republican member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 130 since 2013 and currently serving as Deputy Minority Leader. He previously represented District 128 from 1993 to 2013. Oaks has been a clerk for Wayne County.

Oaks is an owner and agent for Robert C. Oaks Insurance Agency. His other professional experiences include director of Wayne County Youth Bureau and assistant director of Greece Central School District with the Continuing Education Program.

Oaks earned a BA in political science from Colgate University and a MS in recreation administration from University of Montana. He and his wife, Judy, have two children; Christopher and Jason. [1]
