Bob Parker was a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 8th Congressional District of Missouri. Parker was defeated by incumbent Jo Ann Emerson in the Republican primary on August 7, 2012.[1]


Parker is a rancher and real estate agent in southern Missouri. He has served on many boards, including his local school board, DHIA, Extension council, Farm Bureau [until voted off because of his opposition to NAIS], also NRA member, Corriente Cattle life member, Safari Club. He is also a former member of the Republican Central committee in Texas County. [2]

Parker ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Missouri's 8th District. He was defeated by incumbent Jo Ann Emerson in the Republican primary on August 7.[3]
