Bob Schillerstrom was a Republican candidate for Illinois Treasurer in the 2014 election.[1] He filed for the election in June 2013 and withdrew in September of that year.[2]

Schillerstrom is the former DuPage County Board Chair and works as an attorney. He campaigned for governor in 2010. Though Schillerstrom dropped out of the race prior to the Republican primary and endorsed fellow GOP contender Jim Ryan, his name still appeared on the ballot. He garnered 1% of the vote, finishing last in the field of seven candidates.[2]

Schillerstrom was briefly a candidate for 2014 election to the office of Illinois Treasurer. He withdrew from the race in September 2013 after filing for the election in June.[2]Had he remained an active candidate, he would have sought the Republican nomination in the primary on March 18, 2014. The general election takes place November 4, 2014.
