Bob Stenehjem is a Republican member of the North Dakota State Senate. Stenehjem was the Chairman of the Legislative Council from 2003 to 2006. He then joined the North Dakota State Senate in 1993. He is currently the State Senate President Pro Tempore and Majority Leader, representing the 30th district.

Stenehjem is a Foreman for Roads and Streets.

Stenehjem attended Bismarck State College.
