Villare is a candidate for the 2011 Republican Party nomination for District 3 of the New Jersey General Assembly. Villare is bracketed with Domenick DiCicco in the primary. The top-two voter getters will advance to the general election on November 8, 2011.[1]

NJ Spotlight has identified the 3rd District as a potential place for the GOP to pickup a seat in the Assembly. With redistricting moving DiCicco to the 3rd district, he has the advantage of running with incumbent status. Additionally, Villare came within 1,300 votes of defeating incumbent Democrat Celeste Riley in 2009. [2]

2009

Villare was bracketed with Lee Lucas and lost to incumbents John Burzichelli and Celeste Riley.[3]
