Villare earned his M.A. in public policy from Rutgers University and his M.A. in healthcare policy from Johns Hopkins.
Villare was a candidate for District 3 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. Villare and Domenick DiCicco ran unopposed in the Republican Primary on June 7. Incumbents John Burzichelli and Celeste Riley ran unopposed in the Democratic primary.
NJ Spotlight has identified the 3rd District as a potential place for the GOP to pickup a seat in the Assembly. With redistricting moving DiCicco to the 3rd district, he has the advantage of running with incumbent status. Additionally, hran mate Villare came within 1,300 votes of defeating Celeste Riley in 2009.
