Bobby Shows (b. August 28, 1938) is a Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He has represented the 89th District since 1992, when he was elected as a Democrat. Shows switched to the Republican side of the aisle in December 2010.[1]

Shows is co-owner of Shows Brothers Farm Supply.

He is a member of Cattlemen's Association, Farm Bureau, M&M Bank Board, Mississippi Arts Fair for Handicapped Board, and Board Chair of Southeastern Mississippi Livestock Association.[2]

Shows is running in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 89. He ran unopposed in the primary on August 2, 2011. Democratic candidate Jerdon Welborn ran unopposed in the August 2 Democratic primary. The general election takes place on November 8, 2011. [3]


On November 6, 2007, Shows was re-elected in District 89, running unopposed.[4] He defeated Tucker Buchanan in the primary election. [5]
