Brad Bookout was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House representing the 6th Congressional District of Indiana. He won the Democratic nomination and faced Republican Luke Messer in the general election.[1]

Bookout lost to Republican candidate Luke Messer on November 6, 2012.[2]

Bookout led his family’s home building and land development companies for nearly 15 years.[3] He is a certified master homebuilder by trade.[3]

Bookout ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Indiana's 6th District. Bookout defeated Dan Bolling, Jim Crone, George Holland and Susan Hall Heitzman in the Democratic primary and was defeated by Luke Messer (R) in the November 6 general election.[1]

Scroggins.[4]
