Brad Mayo is a 2011 Republican candidate for District 12 of the Mississippi House of Representatives.

Mayo is an alderman on the city council of Oxford, MS; he also runs a financial and investment advising firm. He served for five years as a special projects director in the Mississippi government, and worked for the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency during the Hurricane Katrina disaster.

Mayo is running in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 12. He ran unopposed in the primary on August 2, 2011. Democrats Hollman Raney and Ron Shapiro are running unopposed in the June 7 Democratic primary. The general election takes place on November 8, 2011. [1]

Mayo's campaign websites lists his priorities as improving education, creating jobs, replenishing the state's fiscal "rainy day fund" through spending cuts and budgetary prudence, and increasing funding for the University of Mississippi.
