Brent Steele (b. August 25, 1947) is a Republican member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 44 and serving as Assistant Majority Leader. He was first elected to the chamber in 2004. He previously served in the Indiana House of Representatives from 1995 to 2002.

Steele earned his B.S. in the School of Education from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1969 and his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in 1972. His professional experience includes working as a Local Coordinator for Senator Lugar, Licensed Indiana Broker, Licensed Indiana Insurance Agent, Partner of Steele, Steele, McSoley and McSoley, and partner for Steele and Steele.
